These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the VakilAdvisor.in website and the legal advisory services provided through it. By accessing the website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Us

VakilAdvisor.in is a legal advisory platform operating under applicable Indian laws and the Advocates Act, 1961. Our empanelled advocates are independent professionals enrolled with their respective state Bar Councils.

2. Nature of Services

We provide:

• Civil law advisory (property, contracts, recovery, injunctions)
• Divorce, custody, alimony, and matrimonial dispute representation
• Cyber crime assistance (online fraud, identity theft, digital evidence)
• Loan-harassment assistance, loan settlement, and debt restructuring support

Our role is limited to providing legal and procedural support. We are not a lender, recovery agent, or credit bureau.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, of sound mind, and legally capable of entering into a binding contract under Indian law to use our services.

4. Engagement & Fees

• Initial consultation is offered free of charge. Formal engagement requires a signed engagement letter.
• Our fees are transparent and disclosed in writing before engagement. We follow a fixed monthly fee model — there are no hidden percentage-of-savings charges.
• All payments must be made only via official payment links or invoices. We never accept payment to personal UPI handles, QR codes, or individual bank accounts.
• Statutory costs (court fees, e-stamp paper, notary, postage) are passed through at actuals.

5. No Guarantee of Outcome

Legal outcomes depend on the discretion of courts, lenders, and statutory bodies. We do not, and cannot, guarantee:

• A specific loan waiver percentage or settlement amount
• Issuance of any settlement letter by a lender
• Favourable orders in any court matter
• Specific CIBIL score outcomes

Anyone promising guaranteed outcomes is misrepresenting our services.

6. Client Responsibilities

• Provide complete, true, and accurate information at all times
• Cooperate with assigned advisors and respond to communications promptly
• Make payments as per agreed schedule directly to lenders when applicable
• Disclose any parallel proceedings or other counsel engagement

7. Confidentiality

All client communications and documents are treated as privileged and confidential, in accordance with the Bar Council of India Rules and our internal data protection standards.

8. Intellectual Property

All website content, layouts, images, articles, calculators, and trademarks are the property of VakilAdvisor.in or our licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute them without written permission.

9. Use of the Website

You agree not to:

• Use the website for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the website
• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data without permission
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation

10. Disclaimer

Information on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal advice. Specific advice requires a formal engagement. We disclaim all liability for actions taken solely on the basis of website content.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, our aggregate liability under any engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid by the client to us in the preceding twelve months.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement with 30 days written notice. Fees for services rendered up to the termination date remain payable. Confidentiality obligations survive termination.

13. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at New Delhi, India.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with the updated date.
